Electronic Declaration

In 2010, Federal Customs Service started to introduce an automated customs clearance system. By 2014, all customs stations of Russia will be using this system. At Flagman, we are already switching customs clearance to this distant form, offering our clients electronic declaration today.

Electronic declaration means:

1. Customs Freight Declarations and covering documents are created electronically.
2. Data are processed and registered in special software.

After that, importation of goods is permitted.

Advantages of electronic declaration:

It takes only two hours to file a declaration.

All information about the status and location of the goods is stored on bonded warehouse server. You can track the goods.

• No tiresome redtape

Electronic declaration can be filed at once after the goods have been shipped, you don’t have to wait while the goods will arrive in Russia. All documents will be stored electronically, not on paper.

Electronic declaration system allows to reduce customs clearance costs, but requires initial investments:

• Purchase of a server;
• Creation of data base;
• Data base conformity test with security standards;
• Purchase of software for electronic digital signature and data protection.
